Elana is my name and I met Stephan at nigh
When I first saw him my heart flew high
He loves, honours and protects me all the time
Wherever I am he shows up at nine

There are certain things that make me wonder that I am not too sure
Not the normal man I usually find at my door
But I guess when Loves true heart is resiprocated back
Where loves true dream is there can be no attack

My best friend is a witch and now I find out my Stephan is a Vampire
Oh my Gosh I can't handle this truth it burns within me like fire
All the lies and all the deceit I can't believe this is true
I have no idea what I am going to do

His brother is evil and sucks blood from others
He doesn't care about hurting his sisters and brothers
But Stephan is different I can see his light
And when he honours and loves to protect me through the night
So I will have to deal with the truth and show him my love
Because unlike a Vampire he decends on me like a dove
And now I know the truth our love is stronger than before
I will never ever ever close hearts door!
