Sally and me

Sally and me were best friends

I was the only one she would depend

We would go horse riding and share secrets too

Best friends forever that was true

We went to Vally High and dated two brothers

We were so close sometimes there would be no others

I still remember her till this day

She was so special in every way

You see as we were both living day to day

Some bad news came her way

She had Cancer and had only a month to live for

Until death came knocking at her door

God chooses a path for us all

And he has written eveyones destiny on heavens wall

That we may only have today who knows if tomorrow

And we as people show no love for eachother just sorrow

Sally has taught me to grab onto life with both hands

Because when death befalls you it is like quick sand

And I know she is in heaven above
