The House that was never live in
I look around and see a big space
I can imagine footprints that have left their trace
Behind and around about this room
Will someone enter very soon
Some darkness avail this place
I can see the whiteness of the curtain lace
The grand old piano by the wall
Opposite the long and drafty hall
Up the ridged, rattled staircase
The smell of the mustiness fills the air
Almost a ghostly presence
Of a woman so tall and fair
Walking up the ridged rattled staircase
There are four ways to turn
Which way should I take first
What new things will I learn
A bed and a window and cupboard and table
I see a picture of a father and his daughter called Mable
Was this the house they lived in
Invisible
This is who I am and will always be
Who can't say this isn't what they see
Left out and alone there always is one
When everyone is out there having fun
For me a one way road awaits me there
For I will not look back and stare
Me Myself and I will always be
For that is what God wanted for me
Shut out and shut down
As I frown Where has everyone gone
No one around
There is a missing piece to the puzzle which I am not a part
So there is even no point to start
Invisible vanished this is what I am and will be
I have the key and want to be free
From invisible to visible can you now see.
Whispers
You hear the ocean waves crashing
And the sun set low in the sky
Why do I feel so sad You wonder
As the clouds roll by
The stresses and the strains are weighing you down
People tend to see you always frown
Your wish you could smile and put on a happy face
But the road you're trudging up seems a big pace
So whilst walking along
In the quietness of the day
You hear a whisper
And somebody say
You turn around to see who's there
For your burdens have disappeared and you're all a cheer
You look down and are high in the sky
In loving arms that will carry you by and by
Friend
When I look at you
Into your eyes
I see no ugliness colour or size
But a beautiful vision
A replica of the creator above
I know deep in your heart there is love
What a mind you have up there
You can fly free like the birds in the air
Look in the mirror and the image staring at you
Is created so wonderfully and sweetly
The Lord believes and you should too.
Dreams
I am gonna reach higher and stronger
Up to the sky
And float on the clouds
And sore like an eagle and fly
To reach my dreams and destiny
And what is meant for me
Dreams always live on in my life
This is who I am meant to be
I will take this flight and dream big in faith and victory
And put my spirit to the test
I know I can do it
I am going to do my very best
No one will stand in my way
And If I fail I will try again tomorrow
My dreams will live on in time forever
I will not show no sorrow
Victory and my goal is what is in my mind
This is what I can find
I will go the distance this time and the higher I climb
The more this dream will be mine
Someone Cares
When you feel down and your hurting inside
Look at the positive things inside
Instead of thinking that you have died
Yes you have a special purpose in life
But that doesn't mean
That you wont have days that are full of strife
Everyone goes through rough times
And you feel your insides screaming in whines
You could cry and cry and cry some more
Why just look at yourself and youll be sure
That you are the best thing that God made
You have a purpose in this life
You are unique in your own way
When I see you brighten up my day
Thinking of you I had all this to say
Thank You
People everywhere in life
Come from every walk and station
From every town and city
From every state and nation
But it is dear people like you
Who have blessed my life in some way
I say this with a thankful heart
Words cannot say
When I think of you all I can think of is
You're a person so dear
I couldn't begin to imagine
Or to make it all so clear
You're always in my prayer and thoughts
Every time of the day
And I'll pray God will always guide you
In his own special way
