This is my Third poem being published in an Anthology

Gone Forever in Time

She sails along white beaches
Beyond the hill tops and far she reaches
As the waves splashes against rocks
She races against the chimes and clocks
Somewhere far beneath the docks
Where lovers heart she kept inside locked
The lace edge floating by of her pretty frock
You can see at night as people over look
A ghostly presence of a maiden dear
Along the Irish shores , she shows no fear
Her spirit runs free on that same night that frock she wore
Can be seen floating on the Irish seas
As the willow wind blows the trees
A love died at sea that night
She calls out her lovers name to the Isle of White
But lovers love drowned at sea
That is the way love for Shauna will always be

This poem written by me is going to be discected by language so you can understand its meaning. This poem is about a girl who loved a man and he died at sea. Her love for him will never die. She died with him and this poem shows she is frantically chasing her love over the seas and the shores looking for him and calling out his name.

She races against the chimes and clocks' SHE IS RACING AGAINST TIME as she is madly in love EVEN THOUGH HE IS DEAD

'Somewhere far beneath the docks Where lovers heart she kept inside locked' HER LOVE FOR HIM SHE KEPT LOCKED DEEP IN HER HEART AND BENEATH THE DOCK HAS THE SAME MEANING AS BENEATH THE DOCK IS DEEP UNDER THE WATER HE DIED SO THERE IS THE SAME MEANING IN THE LANGUAGE.

You can see at night as people over look'' 'SHE IS A GHOSTLY PRESENCE AND PEOPLE CAN SEE HER THE EDGE OF HER FROCK FLOATING BY ON THE SEAS IN THE MOONLIGHT

Her spirit runs free on that same night that frock she wore
Can be seen floating on the Irish seas'' SAME HERE AS WELL.

A love died at sea that night
She calls out her lovers name to the Isle of White
But lovers love drowned at sea
That is the way love for Shauna will always be'- WHEN HER LOVER DIED FROM IRELAND TO THE ISLE OF WHITE SHE CALLS OUT HER LOVERS NAME LIKE A HOWLING OF A GHOSTLY LOVER AND SHE WILL CONTINUE TO CALL OUT TO HIM AS HER PRESENCE LIVES ON THE IRSIH SHORES.

My Character Shauna is a porclain white, long red haired (mermaid like ) with freckles and blue eyed young girl aged 18 and she and her lover were young. Her lover was 19. They escaped the poverty and Ireland back in the 1980's when times were hard. Shauna grew up on the farm and her lover worked on the farm. After much toil and heartache he expressed his love for her and they ran away together trying to build a life together.

With no money and no where to go they both decided to end their love together at sea. Shauna didn't want to but it was too late and her lover had already drowned. She then followed him and now her ghostly presence with him. ALWAYS!
