AMY
Amy
One day she woke up and no one was there
She just looked up at the ceiling with one last stare
She picked up her bag and her clothes and her pass
Because her whole life had flashed by so fast
Her name is Amy and she was all alone
No where to call home
Just given birth to a baby in a flat
The father had dissaperard so much truth in that
Now she held her child in her arms and cried
No one to help her she could almost die
No longer where her parents living
But when they were here they were loving and giving
Amy with no one wept as she walked
Mumbling to herself on lifes path- To God she talked
'Yo Amy you Skank look at you now
You little tart, you silly cow'
Her mates spat in her face
Not only because of her race
But Amy ignored them as she passed them by
All she could do is put her head down and cry
She walked into a hostel and handed over her babyboy
Like he was just a little toy
The lady smiled and sat her down
And showed true care when only Amy could do is frown
She hugged her tight and reasured her woud all be well
When all others gave up on her- Amy's story to tell
Now I look back that lady changed my life
If I hadnt met her I would have ended it all with a knife
Now me and my boy Daniel are doing so well
Now mine is a happy story that I can sell
To others who want to give up in life
Just because times get hard and full of strife
My precious child is now my own
But his little life that day I could have thrown
I never knew what happened to his father till this day
I guess he was only out to use me in every way
For I guess you can not trust a mans heart
Out to cheat from the very start
But my boy is the only man i care for
Until one day an opportunity knocks at my door
I will always laugh at my mates who ridiculed me the most
Because I am now the one that can boast
I have a little life to take care of forever
I am Amy his motherand I will never leave him never
