My name is Maria and I am known to be kind
When life gets difficult I breathe and unwind
I have been thru a long journey and have been thru the wars
But when you come to me I will not close the door
I will be your best friend in time of need
You can guarantee I'll be there to plant the seed
I will never leave you through ur toughest times
Even when you have been unjust through your crimes
I am a girl with a soft heart
Hence where all the pain did start
I often get taken for granted
But this girl's world is enchanted.
I dont believe in fairy tales anymore
For loves heart has often closed the door
I hurt easily so I have been told
But my inner strength makes me bold
I am a fighter indeed and will fight till the end
I am a true person who doesn't pretend
I have no idea what the future will hold
But I have to trudge thru even when life turns cold
I have a lot of judgers who are misguided by others
Jealous people who hate on their sisters and brothers
I love to give to show how much I care
But often get's thrown back at me wth an ugly stare
I don't wish any unkindess or any harm
I am a peaceful person who like to stay calm
I am a family girl who likes the quiet life
I don't like being roudy when life is full of strife
I am mixed race and all with me is well
I represent four countries I am proud to tell
