He Missed the Gold
There came a time in a man's life
Where he was blinded by his sucess and wealth
No one could knock him down
He excelled in everything even good health
Everyone made him important, and he couldn't see what was there
Too much of a big head he had as they would watch and stare,
He travelled to destinations afar and enjoyed his time alone
You would hardly hear anything from him not even a moan or groan
He had a good life and kept living up his dream and destiny day by day
That he missed the true gold beofre him, displayed in a precious way,
He kept living up with the people all around,
And ignored the one thing that could have made his life all that worthwhile
Instead one day he eneded up, with less of that grace and style
His life was no longer a solo sucess with the grand ideas he had,
He ended up with a wrong girl, two kids and no love for her, it went bad
His life was no longer his own, as he was bought down to nothing
When he was going around thinking he was something
Life has taught him a thing or too and now he knows next time
That when he sees the gold before him to grab it because the girl that loved him would have made him shine

The Underdog
She may be the underdog,
searching for something she can't find,
the one who is ignored isnt talked to
The one left behind
She knows her value n place in the world,
It isn't too hard to see
that others come first,
So shes gonna let it be
A word or a smile could go a long way,
That others so easily get
That the time spent with them
Is so easily met
One day she wishes all your dreams come true
And u'll live happily ever after
With the people who are around
Bringing you cheer n laughter
She may go the way alone where it's dark n cold,
N may meet few crisis on her way
But is thankful for lifes lessons learnt,
That can guide her through her day

The Golden Temple
The golden temple where lillies lie,
Where pure white birds fly by,
Where hill tops meet with sweet chocolate rain drops
Where children play till sun-set but never want to stop
Where candy flowers are picked by a sweet childs hand
Where it melts in their hands just like candy sand,
Where diamonds make a crystal sea
The Golden Temple is somwhere no one wants to flea,
The sweet honey of the bumble bee,
Makes on the gemstone crystal trees
Sunrise is the best time at the Golden city,
Becasue it makes everthing look so pretty
So take an adventure to this beautful land,
Íll take you there, close your eyes and hold my hand.

Fields of Gold
In fields of Gold where wheat and Barley grow
Where the golden sun shines down on us
As we hold hands and run down the field
Full of laughter and love as I look into your eyes
The wind blows and fairy dust fills the air
Where little pixies play and stare
The way we played and laughed as kids
Where above the tree tops we lived
Watching the sun set in the Field of Gold
Where sweet kisses and true love could be told
Let's take a trip back to the Golden place,
Where we again can create our space,
And dream a dream and wish on a star
Because love's true destiny is not so far
Let me lie down in amoungst the dandelions
And close my eyes and wish
To travel back to the Field of Gold
Where true loves story will never turn cold

I believe wishes do come true,
Because I see love when I look at you
When I see the birds flying in the air
Flying free and high without a care
I believe life's dreams will come to me
Because I have been waiting so long you see
But I always keep smiling and hope one day

Life is magical with its twists and turns
As all of us learns
Having faith and hope for a better day

THE MOON
The Moon is a round globe lighting up the night sky
Where its reflection glistens on the sea as ripples float by
Its shimmery light makes everyone see
To stare at the moon is a beautiful scenery
Often a lovers gazed up at the moon and stars
And felt a love shock whilst visiting Mars
The man has landed on the moon
And I am sure he will be back there very soon
It comes in many shapes but the full moon is the best
It floats down iin the East when the sun rises to light the West
Moons Magic comes alight at night
It truely is a magical sight.

Rushes on like a Revolving Rapid River
Whirls Widely without Wonder
And then Vanishes into a VIVID, VAVACIOUS VENGENCE
The Tall, Tenacious Trees
Lay on the Green Grassy Ground
Swaying in this Wonderful Wide World
Where the Windy, Willows Blow
The Fury, Fuzzy Flowers
Make the Lazy, Long Land,
Make it a Pretty Popular Place,
Where Buzzing, Bumblebees Belong
The Sparkling Salty Sea air
Splashes against your Fresh, Friendly Face
THe Great, Golden Glistening sand
Makes Windy Whispy Waves of air throughout this land

BUTTERFLIES
To fly free like a buttefly from their cocoon,
It is something they have been wishing so soon,
From a creature so small and tiny
To a beautiful being so colourful and shiny
The life of a butterfly is somewhat facinating
They have been so patient waiting
Being caged up in a tomb for so long
Inside where it is dark worndeing where they belong
They come in many different colours like orange and blue,
They fly around and sit on the morning due,
They make the garden look pretty in all its aray,
They truely are so special in every way

First Time
The first time I saw you,
Something gleamed in my eye,
I knew right then I had to have you,
Otherwise I would cry,
The day you waved and smiled at me,
Was truely a miracle I thought,
Then I thought if you could help me
Not only love was was something I could be taught
A million and one stories could have been told throught the year
That you admiration for me became all so clear,
I often look back and smile upon the sweet days gone by,
Those days I miss you and I do sye
You mean more to me that you will ever know
This feels like I am putting on a love show
I'll be there for you whenever you call
When it comes to you there is no wall
Only an open door awaits you there

Life
Life has its up's and down's as we all know,
But hard times come our way so we can grow,
As long as we stay strong and believe for a better day,
A positive attitude will guide you on your way,
I often climb up the ladder of success,
Because I know I am truely blessed,
If I fall down a step or two, I'll get back up and smile,
As I know the obstable I am facing will only be around for a while,
I often know God is guiding me through life itself,
And for that I have true wealth,
He is my special friend indeed,
He helps supply all my needs,
So if life is pressing you down
And you can not smile but only frown,
Be strong and press forward and onward in courage and determination,
You'll eventually arrive safely at your destination.

Don't Quit
Your future goals determine who you are,
Because it makes you want to shine like a star,
To achieve and be successful in all you undertake,
To truely believe in the decisions you make,
Will take you to that place where dreams become reality,
And soon you will feel your life brings about such Clarity
Even if you feel you haven't reached yet and you struggle to make it there,
Try another dream, but just don't sit there and stare,
Always stay determined and stay focused ahead,
Instead of feeling defeated, beat up and dead,
You hold the key to your inner desire,
So bring yourself out of that fire
And into the sunshine where a dreamers dream can come true,
The gold is waiting there

My Parents
God has blessed me with two diamonds from heaven above,
They have always provided for me and given me such love,
God's miracle has decended on me like a dove
It's plain to see, like a hand fits glove
They guided me through life so
Someday I could be a special wife,
So I could pick myself up and stay strong,
When my world was full of strife,
They taught me to forgive and love and care for mankind,
Especially when love in others was hard to find,
They taught me to love God and believe in all he does for me,
And I turely believe that in my trials he set's me free,
They taught me to share and care,
And to shun all evil and to beware,
They always love and care so much for me,
It is really a beautiful thing to see,
I love them so much
That their lives in someway I hope I have touched!

Goodbye doesn't mean the end,
Because to me you were always more than a friend
It's hard for me to put into words how I feel,

Save Myself
To get to the place I need to be
I can get there on my own
By faith and belief
I can climb the steps that go higher and higher
which will lead to me to a place
Where finally my dreams have come true
Where I can wake up every day with a smile on my face
For I know life's test's may get me down
And make me want to frown
But as long as I stay true to who I am
And keep living up a Godly life day by day
I know all I have to do is wait till one day
The switch is turned on
The light shines down
And for once things have taken a turn
Everyone else has had their chance
Am I still waiting? Yes but I know whatever
May be will be and even if it's not meant to
be at least I didn't give up on my faith, belief and dreams
Because it's what carried me to a higher place when all
Else failed and when every door was shut to me
All the walls closed me in, everyone shut me out
Without a doubt
When others were made more important,
When they had time to embace your sweetness
I no longer doubt no more
Because with my faith and inspiration it leads me to open every door!

The Beach
The beach is my most favourite place
The salty air splashing against my face
I would love to have a house by the sea
Where I could live in peace and live free
I love the seagulls gliding on the water like they were iceskating
Children cueing up for candy at the funfair just waiting
I love the seashells on the glistening golden sand
The distant noises of a Jazz band
I watch the distant boats and yaughts sailing by
Pretty kites flying in the summer sky
Children throwing pebbles and making ripples in the water near by
Its too beautiful of a place to say bye bye
The beach is my most favoruite place to spend
One day I am going to take a friend
And spend a beautiful summers day there
And enjoy my time without a care!

Single
Being single has its advatages
Especially when you see married couples not getting on
Maybe it's where I am meant to be
One day I guess we will see
There are no men left really that take a stand
The courage to speak and take my hand
And show how they feel and speak their mind
All they see in me is someone who is pretty and kind
There is always obstacles in the way
Too busy, casual, not into me and all the others say
So I am not even bothered
because one day someone will
come along one day
And I know he is not so far away
I appreciate my loved ones trying to find me someone
But the truth is searching and finding is almost all the fun
Of hopefully one day sifting though the bad to find
one which is good
Not a stalker, or a maniac from the hood!
Don't foget God has two names written in the book of heaven
Two who are destined to be one
So I will leave it with God above
He will show me the way directing me like a dove!

Climbing Mountains
I will climb every mountain until I reach to the sky
I will beat every obstacle that comes in my way
A life where boundaries don't exist
Just float by just like mist
I'll cross every bridge until I am stable enough
Every second I will make it to the other side
No matter the pain I have to deal with
I'll break it apart, to make a new start
I'll cross the rivers and the oceans
to get to the other side
I will conquer my fears and all my tears
Until I make it there on my own.
Where I can reach up to the sky and believe and smile
And reach a place where my world is going somewhere
My dreams will have come true
My faith has lead me to a place where I have been dreaming of
Where nothing brings me down no more
Am safe and I beat all the storms and am finally free!

Why it's not easy for a girl like me
Does life come easy or a girl like me?
Sometimes the road ahead is so hard to see
Not knowing which route to take
Will I make the right choice or a mistake
The only way forward is to trust in him
To guide me to a place where I will win

When everyone out there seems settled and free
My chances might come along one day
But I won't get my hopes up i'll just pray

My Stalker
I thought at first was a kind guy
Then I got flowers and I wondered why?
Okay at first it was nice
But then it happened twice
I said friends is all I want to be
But that was what he could not see
He gave me more gifts and said to a friend 'that won't stop him
'What made him think he would win?
Serious and scary faces he tried to portray
The message I don't want him I tried to convey
But things got worse and now I can see
That he is really stalking me
He keeps coming back to check up on me
I am going to let things be
But it is a scary world out there
When a stalker looks back at you with an ugly stare!

Miracles
I still believe in miracles
When one day there will be a happy start
Where the cares and troubles of this world
Will just fall apart
They will melt down like lemon drops
Somewhere above the mountain tops
In distant hills far away
In the rivers floating day by day
For when my miracle shows up
I will feel like drinking from the victors cup
Finally life has turned around
